Salsa Dancing Pole Dance

When I first saw the title of this video on YouTube, I was really hoping to see some really great combination of pole dancing and salsa dancing, but it turns out she only does a little bit of salsa dancing, and then just starts practicing some pole spins.
If you know of any really cool salsa dance / pole dancing videos post them in the comments section because I think there are some really cool things that could be done like this.
This woman is still a great dancer though!

Loosen Up Those Muscles Before Dancing
Author: admin

If you’re about to start dancing, you should make sure that your hamstrings are nice and loose before you start kicking those legs around.
It’s always safer to stretch before being active so you don’t pull anything.
I found a great article about stretching tight hamstrings for jazz dancers, of course these kinds of stretches are great for any kind of dance.

If you’re interested in meeting like-minded Salsa dancing lovers such as yourself, you might want to consider visiting meetup.com. You can go to the site, do a search for Salsa Dancing and find meetup groups with similar interests as yours, and all in your local community.
These meetups are full of fun, kind and social people of all ages and it’s a great place to meet new friends. Salsa Dancing Helps in Depressing Times
Author: admin
After reading an article over at Lo Hud, I never realized how much power Salsa dancing really has on the way you feel about life. The article begins by discussing the emptiness that once plagued Janet Carlson, an editor over at Town & Country Magazine.
It seems something was just missing in her life, and on one special Valentines Day, that void was filled. Her husband had given her a gift of ballroom dancing lessons. She wasn’t new to this, since she danced competitively in her twenties, but she knew that this was what she needed back in her life to make her happy again.
Now in her 50’s, Janet is dancing again and feeling as happy as ever. This new joy in her life has spilled over into her work and home life. She began producing story ideas that she would have never done before and spreading the happiness among her daughters.
So if you feel like something’s missing in your life, it just might be as easy and simple to find as taking some dance lessons. Learn to salsa dance and you’ll be feeling tip-top in no time.

I can’t remember from what season of So You Think You Can Dance this performance is from, but I just came across it again and had to share it.
The way this couple works together is just amazing.
The flips are great, and just wait until you see some of tricks near the end. The girl is a human hacky sack!
